Practical Parenting Workshops - Term 3, 2025 Baby Series
Move away from early parenting overwhelm by connecting with other families and building knowledge about normal infant behaviour, sleep, feeding and development.
These topics are looked at through a lens of neuroprotective developmental care, which recognises parent and infant physical and mental health as being equally important. The workshops always allow plenty of time to ask the questions that you’ve been up all night Googling and still feeling none the wiser.
Facilitated by Ann, mum to four Pilbara born and bred babies, physiotherapist with an interest in women’s and infant’s health and babywearing, and an Interantional Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), the dates and topics are:
1st August: Sleep 0-12 months
8th August: Feeding 0-12 months
15th August: Supporting brain development
22nd August: Healthy mum, healthy family
29th August: Babywearing practical
5th September: Milestones, play and toys
The workshops are completely free for families thanks to EPIC Hedland and the Child and Parent Centre.
